Life can be hectic, and in the post-COVID business world, sometimes it's easier to do everything online. Maybe you live too far away from the Edinburgh office of Tax Over Coffee Accountants, or perhaps you just don't have the time to meet in person. That's where our remote online tax service can help you with your accounting requirements and annual tax return. Instead of meeting in person, we can communicate by phone, email, Zoom, Google Meet or Teams.
Joining us online takes 3 quick steps. These online meetings are secure and are held just between yourself and your Tax Over Coffee Accountant. In case you run into any issues, we have detailed some common FAQs below.
We will email you an invitation to the Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet video meeting. Open the email.
At the top of the email invite is a link. Click on the link.
A 'pop up' will appear. Click the 'join' button.
You may be asked to input a password. This password can be located in the invite email we have sent you; it will appear under the link to join the meeting.
You do not need an account to join our online video meetings. Simply clicking the link in the invitation email will allow you to join.
At the bottom of your screen you will see the menu below. There is a button to toggle your mic on and off. Click on this to unmute.
At the bottom of your screen you will see a menu. In the menu panel there is a “Start Video” button to toggle your camera on and off. Click on this.
If you wish to change the time and date of your meeting, please call or email us and we will be happy to reschedule this for you.
